i got in touch with typography quite late, in second year at faculty. but immediately fell in love with it. next year i designed my first (with no big series of letters) typeface, where you can maybe find some similarities with optima or bodoni. its name crnozanohtam, the translation would be black-behind-the-nail, comes from the difference between thick and thin lines. (if you have a look at c, which was the first drawn letter, you can sense a connection with the typeface name.)
this typeface was also used for typographic poster i made. we were chosing between a cultural or social poster and i decided to make one for series of alfred hitchcock's movies.
